A bespoke platform for student progress, evidence and reporting
Pathway began with a practical problem identified through Atinamos’s work with Bedazzle Arts. Student records, outcomes, targets, evidence and reporting needed a more structured way of working.
Atinamos designed and developed a substantial web‑based platform around those real workflows. Pathway is owned by Atinamos and has been structured so that other education and support organisations using Google Workspace could potentially adopt it in future.
The platform provides mobile‑friendly workflows for tutors and case managers, together with a broader administration system for managing student records, EHCP outcomes, SMART targets, users, evidence and reporting.
Turning scattered information into one structured workflow
Education and support organisations often need to bring together student information, EHCP outcomes, SMART targets, tutor and case‑manager observations, evidence and supporting documents, progress over time, report preparation and safeguarding flags. Without a dedicated system, this information can become divided across documents, spreadsheets, folders and individual working methods.
The challenge was not simply storing information. It was creating a practical workflow that could connect outcomes, targets, observations, evidence and reporting without forcing staff to work across multiple disconnected systems.
Inspired by a real operational need
Pathway was developed around a genuine operational need rather than as a generic software exercise. The original problem emerged through Atinamos’s work with Bedazzle Arts. While the system was shaped by Bedazzle’s practical tutor, case‑manager and administrator workflows, Atinamos retained ownership and designed the architecture with future use by other Google Workspace organisations in mind.
Who the system supports
Tutors
Tutors can use the mobile‑friendly interface to review relevant student information, record observations, link evidence and contribute to progress records while working away from a desk.
Case managers
Case managers can review student progress, outcomes, targets, evidence and reporting information through an interface suited to day‑to‑day oversight.
Administrators
Administrators have access to the wider management system for maintaining student records, EHCP outcomes, SMART targets, users, roles, reporting information and organisational settings.

Multi‑organisation architecture keeps each organisation’s data logically separated and enforces role‑based permissions.
Reporting & optional AI assistance
Structured reporting tools bring together outcomes, targets, observations and evidence. Optional AI‑assisted drafting uses recorded information to suggest wording, which must be reviewed and approved by authorised staff.
Administration, audit & ongoing development
Administrators can manage organisations, users and audit activity. The platform remains under active development, with the next stage focused on formal testing and refinement.
Designed with data protection in mind
Pathway handles personal and potentially sensitive educational information, so data‑protection considerations have formed part of the system design from the outset.
The platform uses organisation separation, role‑based access and controlled document storage so that users see only the functions and information appropriate to their organisation and responsibilities. Google Workspace is used for controlled evidence and document storage, while Pathway manages the associated student records, workflows, permissions and reporting links.
Optional AI‑assisted report drafting
Where enabled, Pathway can use the information already recorded in the system to assist with drafting progress‑report content. AI‑generated wording is intended only as a starting point and must be reviewed, edited and approved by an authorised member of staff. AI does not assess students, does not determine whether outcomes are achieved, and does not replace professional judgement.
More than a website
Pathway combines student records, user roles, organisation management, mobile workflows, evidence handling, Google Workspace integration, progress indicators, reporting and optional AI‑assisted drafting within one connected system. It demonstrates Atinamos’s ability to move beyond public websites and develop substantial operational software around an organisation’s real processes.
Preparing for formal testing
The core platform has been substantially developed and the next stage is structured testing. This will allow workflows, permissions, usability and reporting behaviour to be reviewed before wider operational use.
Outcome
Pathway has developed from a practical Bedazzle‑inspired requirement into a substantial Atinamos‑owned platform. It brings together student records, EHCP outcomes, SMART targets, observations, evidence, organisational access and reporting within one structured web‑based system.
The platform has been designed so that the original workflows can support future use by other Google Workspace organisations, while formal testing remains the next stage of development.
