Who we are
Atinamos provides practical website improvement and bespoke digital-system development services. Atinamos is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website.
If you have a privacy question or want to exercise one of your rights, please use the contact page.
Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we may receive your name, organisation, email address, phone number, website address and the details you include in your enquiry. Organisation, phone and website information are optional.
The website also uses limited session and security information to protect the form. This includes a session identifier, a security token, a hidden anti-spam field, the time taken to submit the form and temporary session-based rate-limiting records.
Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in the general enquiry form.
If you use the Atinamos AI Website Check, we process the public website address you enter and a representative sample of publicly accessible page content, metadata and links. Please do not submit URLs containing passwords, access tokens or other sensitive information.
How we receive information
We normally receive information directly from you when you submit the contact form or contact Atinamos in relation to an enquiry or existing service.
You may choose to contact Atinamos through WhatsApp. If you do, the information you send will also be handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy arrangements.
Why we use your information
We use information where necessary to:
- understand and respond to enquiries;
- discuss potential work and take steps you request before entering a contract;
- manage communication relating to services; and
- protect the contact form and website against spam, misuse and repeated automated submissions.
Our lawful bases
Depending on the circumstances, we may process information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests in responding to genuine enquiries, operating the website, managing service-related communication and preventing misuse, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Some records may be retained where this is necessary to meet a legal obligation, such as legal, tax or accounting requirements. The contact-form checkbox confirms that you have read this notice and understand how your information will be used; it is not relied on as consent for all processing.
Sharing information
Information may be processed by service providers that are needed to operate the website, deliver email or provide technical support. They should receive only the information needed to provide their service and are expected to handle it appropriately.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where an international transfer is subject to data-protection requirements, appropriate safeguards will be considered and used where required. We do not claim that every provider or processing location is based in the UK.
How long we retain information
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond and manage any resulting discussion or service. Records connected to a contract may be kept for longer where required for legal, tax, accounting or dispute purposes. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or securely disposed of.
AI Website Check results are stored temporarily for up to 24 hours to operate the service and reduce repeated crawling, after which expired result files are removed by the service.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website or email system can guarantee complete security, so please avoid sending information that is not needed for your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- ask for access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask for information to be deleted or processing to be restricted;
- object to certain processing;
- request the transfer of information in an appropriate format; and
- withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis actually being used.
These rights are not always absolute and may depend on the reason the information is being processed. You can make a request through the contact page.
Complaints
Please contact Atinamos first through the contact page so that we can look into your concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office using its official complaints service .
Cookies and local storage
The contact form uses an essential PHP session cookie to support form security, submission timing and temporary rate limiting. This functionality is required to protect the form and is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
The current public website does not use browser local storage, advertising cookies, marketing cookies or public analytics tracking.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the website, our services or relevant legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will show when it was last updated.
